We’re looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to join our growing tech team and help us build smarter, more efficient systems across Spark Tutoring!You’ll work closely with teams across Sales, Customer Success, Operations and Support to understand how the business works day-to-day and identify where automation can reduce manual work, improve processes and make things run more efficiently.You’ll build and maintain end-to-end automations using n8n and GoHighLevel (GHL), connecting different systems through APIs, webhooks and integrations. This will include automating lead and message routing, syncing data, triggering actions, managing follow-ups and creating alerts when something needs human input.You’ll also work with AI and LLMs, including OpenAI and Anthropic, to build intelligent workflows involving AI agents, data extraction, classification, summarisation and automated responses. Experience with WhatsApp, Twilio, Google Sheets, Apps Script and Slack integrations will also be highly valuable.We’re looking for someone who is technically confident, highly organised and comfortable taking ownership of an automation from start to finish — from understanding the problem with a non-technical stakeholder, to building, testing, debugging and improving the solution once it’s live.You should have strong experience with n8n and/or GHL, APIs, webhooks, JSON, JavaScript and multi-step workflows, alongside excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
