Overview
PipeCom is seeking an IT Infrastructure Analyst to support patch management and infrastructure operations within industrial control system and SCADA environments. This role focuses on maintaining the reliability, security, and operational stability of the IT infrastructure supporting operational technology systems.
The successful candidate will work closely with cybersecurity, operations, and engineering teams to manage patching activities, maintain system health, and troubleshoot infrastructure issues across multiple systems.
This position is ideal for infrastructure professionals with strong Windows administration experience who are interested in working in critical infrastructure environments such as pipelines, utilities, or industrial operations.
Responsibilities
- Execute patch management activities across ICS and SCADA infrastructure using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager MECM and related enterprise tools.
- Support the full patch lifecycle including patch identification, scheduling, deployment, validation, and documentation.
- Troubleshoot issues resulting from patch deployments and restore systems to operational status when failures occur.
- Perform Windows server administration tasks including service management, system monitoring, system recovery, and performance troubleshooting.
- Respond to infrastructure incidents including system outages or degraded services.
- Manage patching and maintenance across multiple servers and environments.
- Maintain documentation related to patching, system configuration, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity and operations teams to maintain compliance with security and operational standards.
- Provide infrastructure support for systems supporting OT and SCADA environments.
Requirements
- 4 to 7 years of experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Experience administering Windows Server environments.
- Experience using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager MECM.
- Experience troubleshooting server infrastructure and system outages.
- Familiarity with patch management and system maintenance processes.
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting OT and/or SCADA environments.
- Experience in industrial, energy, pipeline, or utility environments.
- Familiarity with operational technology environments.
