Requirements and responsibilities
micro1 is hiring 10 Thai Language Experts to create and evaluate Thai data for LLM training and multilingual tasks. You will write prompts, translate and localize content, annotate datasets, and judge model outputs for fluency, grammar, orthography, and cultural fit. This is precision language work for native or near-native Thai speakers with strong English proficiency and a linguistics or writing background.What you will doWrite and adapt Thai prompts, instructions, dialogues, and Q&A for tasks like summarization, translation, and reasoningTranslate and localize between Thai and English, preserving register, tone, and natural phrasing in Thai scriptPerform data annotation: labeling, classification, ranking, and creating minimal pairs/parallel text for RLHF and eval setsEdit and revise Thai content for grammar, syntax, agreement, spelling, and punctuation per style guidesEvaluate AI outputs for semantics, pragmatics, and register appropriateness across formal, colloquial, and regional variantsRequirementsNative or near-native Thai + fluent English with strong command of grammar, vocabulary, and natural phrasing in bothExperience in data annotation, writing, or linguistics with attention to consistency, taxonomies, and QC standardsProven translation or content creation experience with attention to orthography and toneStrong attention to detail for consistent labeling, formatting, and style guide adherence at scaleComfort with spreadsheets and labeling tools for high-volume, deadline-driven workBonusKnowledge of other Tai-Kadai languages, corpus linguistics, or prior RLHF/LLM feedback workComp & details$42 - $90/hour based on task complexity and expertise. 10 openings.
