💫 Cápita Works is hiring a Mid-level Backend PHP Developer to implement CakePHP solutions, troubleshoot issues, and prioritize tickets. 2+ years of PHP experience, proficiency in object-oriented development, and familiarity with Git, deployment, and QA best practices are required. 💫 Requirements: 🔘 2+ years of professional experience in coding with PHP or equivalent web application programming language (Ruby, Java, Python, etc.). 🔘 Experience with CakePHP is preferred. 🔘 Proficient in object-oriented development. 🔘 Ability to work with relational databases, preferably MySQL, both through the application and directly through raw SQL queries. 🔘 Clear communication skills regarding technical topics. 🔘 Familiarity with CSS and HTML design standards. 🔘 Experience using Linux command line. 🔘 Understanding of modern development, deployment, and QA best practices, including Git, SVN, CI/CD, Selenium, and Cypress. 🔘 Willingness to learn and grow. 🔘 Good English communication and teamwork skills are highly valued. 💫 Responsibilities: 🔘 Implement high-quality solutions using the CakePHP framework as per technical specifications. 🔘 Troubleshoot server and application issues in PHP code. 🔘 Prioritize and proactively manage assigned tickets. 🔘 Provide solutions to enable system scalability. 🔘 Communicate issues or delays to leadership proactively. 🔘 Set high standards for personal conduct and work.
