Responsibilities: * Prospect VIP accounts using tailored strategies to initiate weekly contact via email, phone, or LinkedIn. * Collaborate closely with BDRs to generate leads and expand the sales pipeline. * Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and key decision-makers. * Qualify leads by understanding their business needs, pain points, and project goals. * Manage the entire sales process: from discovery, proposal creation, and presentation, to negotiation and deal closure. * Provide consultative support to clients, aligning their needs with Rootstack’s service offerings and technical capabilities. * Review RFPs and technical documentation to craft tailored proposals and solutions. * Collaborate with internal technical teams and solution architects to ensure feasibility and alignment of proposed solutions. * Support the commercial team by offering technical guidance during client meetings and sales presentations. * Provide insights and recommendations based on client feedback and industry trends. * Maintain up-to-date CRM records and report on pipeline and sales activity. * Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly KPIs, including lead generation and meetings booked. Requirements: * Bachelor’s or technical degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. (Technical training is a strong plus.) * Proven sales experience in the full B2B sales cycle within the technology or software development industry. * Strong background in consultative selling and solution-based sales approaches. * Comfortable discussing technical concepts and collaborating with engineering teams. * Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. * Self-motivated and results-driven with strong time management and organizational skills. * Proficiency in CRM systems and sales productivity tools. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.
