The Role:
We’re seeking a Product Engineer to collaborate in founder mode—building our embedded Wallet product with the same urgency, ownership, and vision our team brings to all of our products. You’ll co-pilot the creation and growth of this product, turning it into a foundational fintech primitive that drives both adoption and engagement.
What You’ll Do:
You’ll act like a founding engineer—partnership-driven and execution-obsessed:
* Architect and build the embedded Wallet stack end-to-end, from backend core logic to SDKs that integrate into client apps.
* Design for scalability: ensure the Wallet handles high throughput while maintaining low latency, reliability, and security.
* Collaborate closely with the Product Designer: bake UX insights directly into the product’s foundation, not just the surface UI.
* Iterate quickly: ship early, incorporate feedback, and refine in tight cycles.
* Measure and optimize: track adoption, activation, and retention metrics—understand conversion funnels and run experiments to improve them.
* Ensure reliability: write tests, set up observability, monitor system health, and foster a strong testing culture across client integrations.
* Be relentless about performance: profile, optimize, and advocate for better SLAs.
* Engage with customers: build prototypes, demo the Wallet early to clients, gather feedback, and incorporate learnings quickly.
* Be obsessive about quality: catch edge cases before they hit production, and push for robustness and resilience.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience building core fintech primitives such as wallets, payments, or embeddable components.
* Deep understanding of end-to-end product engineering—backend, SDKs, integrations, performance, and testing.
* Strong bias toward founder-mode ownership—you move fast, own the stack, and deliver outcomes.
* Passion for metrics-driven product velocity—you think in funnels and conversion rates at every layer.
* Mastery of scalability, reliability, and APIs—you care deeply about what’s beneath the UI.
* Experience launching B2B2C infrastructure, preferably in fintech, payments, or related domains.
* Bonus points if you’ve built SDKs, embeddable APIs, or fintech primitives like wallets, payments, tokens, or agentic onboarding flows.
