Requirements and responsibilities

Who we are:We deploy powerful AI in complex, regulated industries, specializing in building the systems that enable autonomous agents to operate entire functions securely and reliably. Our belief is that people should be free of administrative and operational drudgery so they can create value through creativity, reasoning, and judgement. We’re starting in higher education, a sector with ~$700B in expenses defined by heavy workflows across departments, such as admissions, financial aid, facilities, advising, student services, advancement, and more. Our agents are already embedded across these departments, interacting with millions of students and staff. They process applications, package aid, resolve verification issues, run large-scale communication workflows, handle student support tickets, and more.We believe that universities are among the most consequential institutions in the world, sitting at the foundation of social and economic progress. Improving how they operate improves who gets educated, who gets supported, and who gets a chance. When higher education runs better, everything built on top of it does too.About the role:We’re hiring a BizOps teammate to take on high-leverage, cross-functional work across the company. You’ll partner with founders, product, engineering, and GTM to drive strategy, stand up new initiatives from 0→1, and own critical operational workflows as we scale. The role blends structured strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You’ll operate as an internal problem-solver who moves seamlessly between analysis, product work, and customer-facing projects.Responsibilities:Strategic Problem Solving & Framework DevelopmentDrive end-to-end strategic initiatives from exploring new markets to accelerating growth in existing product lines.Build strategic frameworks to evaluate customer segments, GTM approaches, and geographic expansion opportunities.Form hypotheses, run analyses, and turn ambiguous challenges into concrete recommendations.GTM Strategy & OperationsBuild scalable systems, tooling, and processes for sales, marketing, and agent development.Contribute to pricing/monetization, sales comp, revenue forecasting, and GTM org design.Improve operational rigor and predictability across the GTM motion.Business OperationsLead high-impact projects across core operations, strategic finance, KPIs/board reporting, and growth.Support commercial strategy, pricing, packaging, and broader GTM initiatives.Build processes that improve execution and visibility as the company scales.Data-Driven Insights and AnalyticsLeverage data, LLMs, automation, and tooling to surface insights and streamline workflows.Build models, dashboards, or lightweight internal tools that improve decision-making and execution. What We’re Looking For:5+ years in consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, business operations, product management, or similar analytical/strategic roles.Experience owning ambiguous, cross-functional projects end-to-end with clear measurable outcomes.Comfort working directly with customers and technical teams, ideally with exposure to AI, SaaS, or fast-paced startup environments.Strong analytical, communication, and systems-thinking skills; able to move from high-level strategy into hands-on execution.Strong problem-solving, presentation, and modeling skillsCollegeVine partners with 200+ universities, deploying agentic AI to power campus operations. We have raised venture funding from dedicated investors such as Menlo Ventures (Anthropic, Carta), Silversmith Capital Partners (Webflow, Formstack), Morningside Technology Ventures (Xiaomi, TikTok), and more. In 2020, after years of being a remote-friendly company, CollegeVine became a fully remote company (with a NYC office) with a diverse cast of team members based predominantly in the United States, but also around the world.
