Role: Software Engineer – Open 3D Engine (O3DE). Location: Remote. Rate: $50 – $120/hr. Type: Contract. Openings: 20. Responsibilities: - Build high-quality 3D scenes and simulations using O3DE. - Work with Atom Renderer, Component Entity System, Gems & Asset Processor. - Transform concepts into interactive, AAA-quality environments. - Develop and optimize asset pipelines for large-scale projects. - Write clean, scalable code in Python & C++. - Integrate with AWS-based environments for scalability. - Collaborate with stakeholders to align with AI training goals. Requirements: - Strong expertise in Open 3D Engine (O3DE). - Proficiency in Python and C++. - Experience building 3D simulations or game environments. - Familiarity with AWS and cloud-based workflows. - Background in game development or simulation engineering. - Excellent communication and documentation skills. - Ability to work independently in a remote setup. Bonus Points: - Experience building AI/ML-driven 3D simulations. - Strong knowledge of performance optimization & asset management. - Experience in remote, cross-functional teams.
