About the roleFSG is the solution for operational excellence sought by private fund managers who wish to focus solely on raising capital and identifying investment opportunities. FSG supports the entire life-cycle of private funds and the management company, including execution of investments, the investor experience, and the compliance, finance, and human resource solutions needed to satisfy regulatory requirements. The Accounting Associate role is an opportunity to learn and experience the finance industry in a people-oriented, hard-working, team-player culture, with a compensation structure that provides unlimited upside.Your key responsibilitiesProcessing the accounting and payment for invoices and other expensesPreparing corporate credit card reconciliationsReconciling bank and other financial statement accountsCompiling accounting and tax reporting data for 1099 preparationCalculating and accounting for revenues earnedAssisting with the onboarding and training of new team membersOur requirementsExperience (1-2 years) in accounting or bookkeeping roles involving the accounts payable processBe a team player with an enthusiastic work ethicLearn all we teach you quickly, comprehensively, and enthusiasticallyBe exceptional in your organizational and written communication skillsHave an exacting attention to detailBe exemplary in prioritization and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environmentBe proficient in Microsoft Office SuiteWhat we offerComprehensive benefitsBase salary commensurate with experience and success: The annual base salary range for this position is $50,000 to $75,000Quarterly bonus with unlimited potential growth: 1/3rd of profits shared with the team in bonuses each quarterWork modelWe are primarily a remote work company, but some of the training for this role may be best delivered in-person using client sites or local coworking locations. Clients also ask for on-site support from time-to-time. During the interview process, expectations about any required in-person training or support time will be outlined.
