Job Description Logistics Order & Inbound Specialist (Contract) B&B Warehousing, Inc. is seeking a highly detail-oriented contract professional to manage customer order entry and inbound pre-receipts in a regulated warehouse environment. Accuracy is critical. This role directly impacts inventory integrity, customer satisfaction, and food safety compliance. This position is best suited for someone who is methodical, organized, and comfortable working independently with clear procedures and expectations. Key Responsibilities • Enter customer orders into the Warehouse Management System with near-100% accuracy • Create and verify inbound pre-receipts based on customer documentation (BOLs, ASNs, packing lists) • Validate item details including SKU, lot, quantity, unit of measure, and special handling instructions • Confirm completeness and clarity of all inbound and outbound documentation before entry • Identify discrepancies, missing information, or errors and escalate before entry • Follow established SOPs and verification steps consistently • Maintain accurate electronic records and audit-ready documentation • Communicate clearly with internal teams when clarification or correction is required Requirements • Proven experience with order entry, logistics operations, or warehouse administration • Demonstrated track record of high accuracy in data-driven work • Experience working in a WMS or ERP system (any platform) • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes • Ability to work independently without constant supervision • Comfortable stopping work to clarify instructions rather than guessing • Reliable, consistent, and accountable Fit for This Role This role is a strong fit for individuals who: • Value accuracy over speed and take time to verify information • Ask questions and seek clarification when details are unclear • Are comfortable managing their own work and staying organized • Perform well in structured, detail-focused tasks Contract Details • Contract position • Clear scope of responsibility • Structured processes and expectations • Opportunity for ongoing or long-term contract work based on performance
