GleanKY gathers and redistributes excess fruits and vegetables to nourish Kentucky's hungry. Since our first gleaning in June 2010, we have collected over 1,000,000 pounds of fruits and vegetables, saving them from the landfill, and getting them to those facing food insecurity in Central Kentucky. In 2015 we worked with 418 volunteers, 38 food sources, and delivered to 60 hunger-fighting ministries, emergency food agencies and neighborhood ambassadors.
