SEO Specialist — Recovery & Growth Company: ComfyIQ (Hit Notion LLC) Location: Remote | Must overlap 3+ hours with Eastern Time Type: Contract | Monthly retainer Budget: $1,500–$3,000/month (scope-dependent) THE SITUATION: ComfyIQ ranks for hundreds of therapeutic pillow and sleep-related keywords. But we have serious technical SEO debt: 100+ blog post titles are truncated or malformed in Google Search Console, title tags and meta descriptions need systematic cleanup across 478 articles, a full Shopify site migration is happening in Q2 2026, and internal linking structure needs a strategic overhaul. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Phase 1 (Month 1): Audit all 478 blog posts in GSC, fix 100+ truncated/broken title tags, optimize meta descriptions for CTR, deliver prioritized spreadsheet of changes. Phase 2 (Month 2): Create comprehensive 301 redirect map for Shopify migration, define new URL structure, plan schema markup strategy, set up rank tracking for top 100 keywords. Phase 3 (Ongoing): Monthly keyword research and content briefs, internal linking optimization across 478 articles, competitor analysis and keyword gap identification, monthly reporting. REQUIREMENTS: - 3+ years hands-on SEO experience (actual implementation, not just strategy decks) - Proven experience with site migrations and ranking recovery - Expert-level Google Search Console and GA4 knowledge - Experience with Shopify SEO (URL structures, Liquid meta tags) - You use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, SurferSEO, Clearscope) to scale your work - Can show measurable results from previous SEO projects HOW WE EVALUATE: Step 1: Complete our SEO screening quiz (~15 min) Step 2: Top 5 candidates do a paid audit of 10 blog posts from our site Step 3: Video call with Jay and the DOO
