You’ll gain valuable experience working with a variety of payer systems and enjoy the flexibility to develop your skills in a supportive, remote environment.This position is remote and offers you the flexibility of working from home.Your responsibilities will include:Follow-up with payers to ensure timely resolution of all outstanding claims via phone or websitesMeets and maintains daily productivity/quality standards established in departmental policies Utilizes the workflow system, client host system, and other available tools to collect payments and resolve accountsAdheres to the policies and procedures established for the client/teamKnowledge of timely filing deadlines for each designated payerPerforms research regarding payer-specific billing guidelines as neededAbility to proactively analyze, identify, and trend claims issues to reduce denials Communicate with management about any issues and trends identifiedInitiate appeals when necessaryUnderstanding of under or over-payments and credit balance processesUse, protect, and disclose patients protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standardsTo succeed in this role you will need:Minimum 2 years in AR or healthcare billing, preferably in skilled nursing or long-term careFamiliarity with PCC and David's SystemKnowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance billingStrong attention to detailProficient in MS ExcelExcellent verbal and written English communication skillsService Fee:Industry standards applicable to the state depending on work experience and level of expertise.Hours:US Eastern Standard Time (EST) – 9am to 6pmWhy Limitlessli?We embrace the flexibility and convenience of a remote working environment, and you will collaborate with an international team while contributing to our growing business, all from the comfort of your home.Essential requirements:You will need to have some essential tools – a reliable computer and noise-cancelling headset, a second monitor for enhanced productivity, and a stable internet connection.
