We are responsible for ensuring customers understand the value and practical application of EcoVadis solutions, so that they can progress on their sustainable procurement journey. We are also responsible for increasing the effectiveness of all Frontline roles (Sales, Customer Success and Services of Engagement) via high adoption of new skills, tools & processes, and of solutions & regulation expertise.A Strategic Sales Engineering AMS Regional lead at EcoVadis acts as a trusted advisor to our customers along this journey. The Strategic Sales Engineering AMS Regional lead function provides sustainability knowledge and solution expertise throughout the sales cycle and full customer relationship by engaging customers in multiple ways, including understanding their needs and requirements and aligning them with the EcoVadis solution suite, developing proof of concepts, demonstrating solution capabilities, providing subject matter expertise during prospect and customer calls and specifying deliverables when providing additional services that support solution implementation.This transversal role is pivotal to the sales process and customer experience, requiring coordination with multiple colleagues across various teams, including Sales Executives, Account Managers, Sustainability Analysts, Marketing, IT and Solutions teams and other Sales Engineering team members (including Sales Engineering regional members and Sales Engineering Solution leads).The successful candidate will possess a passion for critical thinking about sustainability, understand the latest sustainability regulations and trends, and be eager to learn in detail how EcoVadis solutions and services enable companies to tackle sustainability challenges in their value chains.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with the regional Sales and Account Management teams to identify regional customer and prospect challenges and requirements, ensuring alignment with the capabilities of EcoVadis’ solution suitePrepare high quality solution demonstrations and answer prospects’ and customers’ functional and technical questions (meetings, tenders/questionnaires, overall RFx process)Continuously support frontline teams, prospects and customers to better understand EcoVadis solution capabilities in relation to their sustainability priorities and program expectationsFacilitate and deliver training to frontline teams on sustainability topics and solutionsProvide feedback by relaying solution enhancements, acting as an advocate for prospect and customer needs to the businessSupport a variety of relevant projects to enhance the productivity and efficiency of the Sales and CS teams through Sales Engineering. Examples include collaboration with marketing on thought leadership and content development and, participation in webinars and eventsAccurate tracking and communication of the team's contributions to the regional targetsQualificationsSubject matter expertise in sustainability, with up-to-date knowledge of the supply chain regulatory landscape and trends in sustainability reportingExperience in SaaS and technology: development and/or enablement of technical solutions; product management experienceAdaptability is key: the ability to navigate a fast-growing organization and take a flexible approach in the dynamic, fast moving field of sustainability, ESG and sustainable procurementAt least 5 years experience in a related position, preferably in consulting services involving multiple stakeholders or alternatively internal consulting roles, including project managementBachelor's Degree required. Master’s Degree preferred (Sustainability and/or Business)Critical reasoning skills in order to identify problems and provide solutions quicklyAnalytical, organized, detail-oriented and disciplined. Proven fast learner and self-motivatedExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English.
