Requirements and responsibilities


Job BriefWe are looking for a highly motivated, US- or Canada-based medical physicist or dosimetrist who has a passion for radiation therapy and enjoys a dynamic, fast-paced work environment. The QA Manager will work directly with the Product Manager, another QA Manager, and the dedicated engineering team to ensure EZFluence is of the utmost quality through testing and preparation. The QA Manager will bring their upbeat personality and clinical skills to this role to thoroughly test new product versions prior to release, investigate and solve problems experienced during testing, and assist with troubleshooting errors and issues clinics are experiencing. The QA Manager will also work with the Regulatory Team to fulfill Medical Device-related documentation.Responsibilities Include:Testing product version prior to release to aid in quality assuranceVersion verification and validation testing to ensure product quality and integrityCoordination with the Success and Support teams for troubleshooting assistance and/or clinic setupSharing feedback with the Product Manager and engineering teamDocumentation generation for product related materialsMedical Device documentation preparation, in cooperation with our Regulatory team, such as defining requirement specifications, outlining testing conditions, executing and documenting testing, and outlining and mitigating software risksAbilities:Enthusiastic about learning new technologies and sharing them with the healthcare communityThrives with a dynamic schedule and constant learning environmentExcels at multi-tasking and managing multiple projects simultaneouslyMaster of radiation oncology clinical workflowStrong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work independentlyHighly motivated to help clinicians improve their workflowExcellent communication skills, both written and oralOpen mindset and welcoming of ideas and feedbackRequired Experience:Minimum 5 years experience as a clinical medical physicist or dosimetristExtensive treatment planning experience across multiple modalities and treatment techniquesValidation and verification experienceStrong critical thinking skillsExceptional communication skillsAbility to multitask and work independentlyPositive attitude and a passion for excellence in patient careDetailed documentation skills including ability to clearly define ideasExperience with implementation of AAPM Task Group reported related to second check systemsPreferred Experience:>5 years experience as a clinical medical physicist or dosimetrist using Radformation products, particularly EZFluenceExperience using Visual Studio or similar coding softwareProgramming experience using C#Familiarity with multiple treatment planning systemsProduct testing and/or verification experienceCustomer service experienceSalary$140,000 - $210,000 a yearSalary listed is in USD for US-based employees and will be commensurate with degree, title, and experience.
