We deliver Raving Fan Service by helping clients challenge their media objectives and realize their business ambitions. Powered by best-in-class research and planning tools, SMS works in partnership with our sales team to tailor our tech enabled services approach to drive better outcomes and media campaigns.This position will be responsible for account management and stewardship of media services for a suite of brand and agency advertisers. This role will oversee the development and quality control of media plans as well as presenting them to client stakeholders.WAYS YOU’LL CONTRIBUTEPartnering with research and strategy team members to develop and present integrated media recommendationsMaintaining a strong understanding of the digital media landscape and the latest Basis products and solutionsMastering an understanding of how digital channels work together to drive different business outcomesMentoring and train junior planning team membersBringing new ideas to clients through the latest digital innovation, research, and vertical expertiseUsing syndicated research to build rationale for recommended media strategiesCollaborating with our analytics team to ensure media strategies are aligned to business objectives and measures of successNegotiating with vendors to secure the best inventory and pricing available for our clientsCultivating strong internal relationships with ad operations, campaign analytics, and search and social media planners.Operating with a solutions-oriented approach and a high degree of client servicingEnsuring high levels of campaign performance, client satisfaction, and retention, while working alongside the VP and Director of Integrated Client Solutions and Client Development team membersRemaining on-top of advertising trends and provide POVs to clients on topics such as the cookie-less futureManaging insertion orders (IO's), post-IO media plan revisions, and the approval of all publisher IO's for each campaignActualizing campaigns to ensure campaign budgets and KPI's are met and delivered in fullAssisting Finance in billing executions and discrepanciesCompleting traffic sheets and assisting with gathering creative assets and instructions as neededWHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLEMin of 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, etc4+ years of experience in digital media buying and planningPrevious experience mentoring junior team membersStrong understanding of programmatic media and real-time biddingStrong proficiency with holistic media planning fundamentals and media planning toolsExperience with syndicated research toolsExperience working alongside a Demand Side PlatformStrategic thinking and proactive detail-oriented client service skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong issue resolution and problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to work well in a cross functional team environmentAdvanced Excel and PowerPoint skillsCommitment to creating inclusive, respectful environments where all voices are valued and supported.Thoughtful approach to collaboration, design, and decision-making that prioritizes equity, access, and continuous learning.BONUS POINTSHands on DSP buying experienceExperience working with a 3rd party ad serverExperience in digital reporting dashboards such as DatoramaBasis CertifiedSALARY RANGE$76,706 - $89,500 a yearTo maintain compliance with U.S. pay transparency laws, Basis provides a broad salary range that reflects a typical compensation range for the role, level, and varying cost of labor in most U.S. locations, and therefore will not be applicable to all candidates or hires.
