🦜 The customer service representative (CSR) will provide call servicing and support functions to United States-based client companies. - 150 OPENINGS (0 REMAINING) Primary responsibility is call-servicing, both inbound and outbound, for internal or external customers, and may include additional activities as the client needs. Additional activities can vary, including retention and sales initiatives/campaigns, account review activities, mobile device troubleshooting, and other support functions as needed. 🦜 Job consideration: 🔹 This role is a minor assignment in a growing, fast-paced Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) firm, with business performed almost exclusively in English. 🔹 Job is offered as an independent contractor position. All compensation is based on hours worked. The contractor is not considered an employee of the company and is not entitled to any benefits, including pension, retirement, transportation, profit sharing, paid time off, or other benefits specific to company employees. 🦜 Schedule: 🔹 Current business hours: Monday-Sunday, 9:00 am-9:00 pm Eastern Time (US & Canada). 🔹 Schedules will vary but fall within current business hours. 🔹 Full-time role (40 hours/week). 🔹 5-day work week, including at least one weekend day (Saturday/Sunday). 🔹 Overtime opportunities available, based on business needs. 🦜 Compensation: 🔹 Starting pay is USD 3.00/hour. 🔹 Experience, skill, and background will determine the offered rate. 🔹 Must have a bank account to receive direct deposit payments. 🔹 Pay is provided monthly, based on the previous month's work. 🦜 Requirements: 🔹 Sustainable/sufficient internet bandwidth during business hours: o Minimum of 20 MBPS download and 10 MBPS upload speed (this will be tested). o Must be able to work using an Ethernet connection (Wi-Fi is not recommended). 🔹 Computer with the compatible operating system (OS) and minimum requirements: o Windows 10 or higher / MacOS 10.14 or higher. o Processor (CPU): Intel Core i3 or better/ AMD Ryzen 3 or better. o Minimum of 8GB of RAM. o Minimum of 5GB of available hard drive space. 🔹 Wired USB headset to take calls (Jack 3.5 mm, and Bluetooth/wireless headsets are not approved). 🔹 Private work environment, free of distractions with minimal background noise. Co-work/similar facilities not approved. 🦜 Experience: 🔹 Nice to have: One year prior contact center, and customer service experience. 🔹 Preferred: Technical support experience; familiarity with troubleshooting mobile devices, including tablets and cellphones. 🔹 Experience in providing customer service in the English language. 🔹 High proficiency in the English language (conversational speaking and writing). 🔹 English speaking voice must be clear for a United States customer with a neutral/limited accent. 🔹 Must be a self-starter and able to work independently with limited direction. 🔹 Must learn quickly and adapt effectively to any changes in assignments/work. 🔹 Able to interact in a professional and friendly manner, listen effectively, and communicate across different audiences.
