Platzi's Product Team has the challenge of offering our students the best educative experience through our end-to-end platform. As a startup, we constantly face the challenge of iterating at a fast pace with experiments that explore the best way to satisfy the needs of our students. Our culture is very important for us, and a fundamental element of it is the constant and honest feedback as the best tool for professional growth.
We expect you to be an outstanding team player, with a growth mindset working in a close loop with other frontend developers, mobile developers, product managers, backend developers, QA specialists, and product designers.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and interpret documentation, clearly explain the development of processes and results, actively participate in meetings, propose ideas and solutions;
- Understand the purpose and rationale behind the features being created, as well as the impact they will have on users and the platform as a whole;
- Work closely with the design and product team to brainstorm and contribute to the planning and design of new functionality;
- Provide ideas and technical solutions to improve the usability, efficiency and user experience of the proposed functionalities;
- Create cross-browser solutions using high-end web technologies;
- Write clean and modular styles, following the best practices of organization and file structure in preprocessors (CSS Stylus, Sass, Less).
Requirements:
- Be proactive, innovative, communicative, transparent, competitive, self-taught, adaptable and results-oriented.
- Have previous experience in more than 1 project creating cross-browser solutions using React redux.
