Project Untethered is a mid-six-figure travel YouTube channel with over 220,000 subscribers, and the business has reached a point where systems ownership is essential. The role is designed for someone who can take full ownership of business systems, allowing the creator to remain focused on the creative process. The position is for an Operator who can identify inefficiencies, structure processes, and proactively design solutions without step-by-step direction. šŸ  Phase 1: The Architect (first 60 days) The initial focus is on documenting and systematizing existing processes. During this phase, you will take over current manual tasks such as emails, affiliate links, and uploads to fully understand friction points. Based on this understanding, you will build standard operating procedures and system architecture that will later allow a junior virtual assistant to handle repetitive tasks. šŸ“ˆ Phase 2: The Operator & Growth Engine Once foundational systems are in place, the role evolves to include: * Negotiating sponsorships by managing brand communication and proactive outreach. * Driving strategic growth by diagnosing email subscriber performance, creating and testing lead magnets, and building AI-driven tools to grow the email list. * Conducting insight analysis by reviewing YouTube analytics and competitor performance to inform content experimentation. * Automating systems by converting manual standard operating procedures into automated workflows using Make.com or AI tools. This role functions as a right-hand position. The primary objective is to manage and optimize any part of the business that distracts from scripting and recording videos, ensuring tasks are completed at a level equal to or higher than the creator’s own execution.
