Responsibilities
Role Summary.
You will lead the design and implementation of high-impact AI/ML-driven solutions for our clients.
You will be responsible for both architecture and delivery, working across data, cloud, model deployment, and business stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities:
* Define end-to-end AI solution architecture (data ingestion, feature store, modelling, deployment, monitoring).
* Lead the development or selection of AI/ML features and systems.
* Write and review scalable code, pipelines, and services to ensure high quality and performance.
* Optimize AI applications for inference latency, cost, throughput, scaling, and production resilience.
* Conduct architecture reviews, code/model reviews, and mentor junior engineers and data scientists.
* Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, product teams, and business stakeholders to align AI solutions with business objectives.
* Establish best practices for model deployment, versioning, monitoring, drift detection, and retraining.
* Contribute to pre-sales and solution shaping through technology selection, technical estimations, and white papers/architecture diagrams.
* Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, data/platform architecture, or solution architecture in AI/ML production systems.
* Strong experience with both relational and non-relational databases, data pipelines, ETL, and cloud data platforms (data engineer background is useful here).
* Proficiency in Python (or similar languages) and with ML/AI libraries/frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
* Hands-on experience building and deploying ML/AI pipelines and working with cloud AI/data platforms (e.g., Azure ML, Azure OpenAI Service, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric is a plus).
* Experience in the architecture of scalable, resilient AI services (microservices, containers, orchestrations, CI/CD for ML, model versioning, monitoring).
* Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; ability to articulate architecture clearly to business and technical stakeholders.
* Greek nationals: fulfilled military obligations (if applicable).
