- Chainguard is on a mission to secure the software supply chain by default - Founded by industry's leading experts on open source software, security, and cloud native development - Backed by Sequoia, Amplify Partners, the Chainsmokers, and more Chainguard is looking for a highly motivated Enterprise Account Executive to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong market knowledge and enjoy building relationships with key decision makers to evangelize building secure and reliable software. This role involves defining and executing sales plans for the assigned territory, conveying value proposition and product differentiators to prospects and customers, forecasting, meeting, and exceeding quota, developing and managing leads funnel, managing business and tracking opportunities through CRM and other supporting tools, and collaborating on and improving all aspects of the sales cycle. The candidate should have 5+ years of IT sales experience, domain experience with compute platforms, DevOps tooling, CICD platforms, and overall SDLC, a strong track record of consistently overachieving sales targets, the ability to learn new products and processes quickly, excellent communication skills, and the willingness to travel to clients to support sales relationships if required. Desired qualifications include SaaS or developer tools sales experience, startup experience, a strong sales aptitude, and a fundamental understanding of the sales process.
