Role Summary: - We are looking for a hands-on Robotics QA Engineer responsible for validating the quality, reliability, and safety-related behavior of our Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) software platform. - This role combines robotics software testing, simulation-based validation, ROS-based test automation, test management and traceability, failure analysis and root cause investigation, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and structured quality processes. Core Responsibilities: - Validate robot behavior in simulation environments. - Develop automated Python-based validation scripts. - Execute and maintain regression test suites. - Verify navigation, localization, obstacle avoidance, and safety-related functionality. - Interact directly with ROS Topics, Services, and Actions during test execution. - Analyze ROS bags, application logs, and simulation output. - Investigate defects and support root cause analysis. - Maintain structured test repositories and Jira test cycles. - Map software releases against test coverage and validation results. - Collaborate with Robotics, Backend, and Customer Success teams to improve product quality. - Support release readiness assessments.
