Responsibilities
Professional Experience:
- 5+ years of professional Shopify development experience.
- Expert-level experience in Shopify theme development and customization.
- Advanced knowledge of Liquid, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive development.
- Extensive experience with Shopify APIs.
- Hands-on experience integrating and customizing Klaviyo.
- Strong experience with subscription platforms such as Recharge, Skio or similar tools.
- Proven experience optimizing storefront performance, Core Web Vitals, page speed, and overall user experience.
- Strong proficiency with Git, code reviews, CI/CD workflows, and modern development best practices.
- Experience with Shopify Checkout Extensibility, Shopify Functions, Metafields, Metaobjects, and Theme App Extensions is a strong plus.
- Ability to estimate technical tasks, mentor other developers, and drive technical decisions across projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain custom integrations using Shopify APIs, third-party services, and internal tools.
- Architect and build scalable Shopify solutions, including custom themes, sections, templates, and advanced functionality.
- Implement and optimize ecommerce features such as subscriptions (Recharge, Skio, Smartrr, Appstle, etc.), Klaviyo integrations, upsells, bundles, promotions, loyalty programs, and personalized shopping experiences.
- Collaborate closely with designers, CRO specialists, and project managers to deliver pixel-perfect, conversion-focused user experiences.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions while proactively identifying risks and recommending improvements.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex storefront, integration, and performance issues across multiple Shopify projects.
- Maintain high code quality through thorough self-testing, peer code reviews, and adherence to development best practices before deployment.
- Participate in architectural discussions, establish development standards, and contribute to continuous process improvements.
