Engineering Responsibilities: - Building and owning backend server applications and components that power Chariot's payment platform end to end, from design through production. - Contributing to architecture decisions across APIs, backend systems, and infrastructure, helping define team standards and best practices. - Collaborating directly with founders, product, and engineering through whiteboarding sessions and technical debates, with strong opinions loosely held. - Improving real-time monitoring and alerting capabilities to better understand user behavior and iterate on the product. - Taking on a wide range of engineering projects across the platform, as the team intentionally avoids siloed product lines so you will work across the full stack.
