Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain C#/.NET backend services and Angular/Redux frontend logic. Use Cursor, Claude Code OR similar AI coding tools daily, critically improving team practices while working with designers on scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Participate in planning, coding, testing and deployment, advocate development standards and collaborate remotely, primarily during European business hours.
Role context
- Build data-privacy solutions in a diverse remote-first engineering team, focusing on clean, maintainable APIs/backend services with .NET, C# and MongoDB.
Additional requirements
- Bring 5+ years of backend development, particularly C#/.NET Framework; daily hands-on AI coding-tool use on real projects, with good agent context and critical AI-code review; MongoDB expertise including aggregations, compound indexes and transactions; and GDPR, CCPA OR other data-privacy compliance experience.
- Angular development with NgRx OR other Redux frameworks is desirable. Have payment-platform experience such as Stripe, strong Git/branching practices, web profiling for availability/scalability, server/client design judgment, communication with non-engineers, independent problem solving and startup experience.
- Bonus: MCP servers, open-source contributions, StackOverflow OR other community contributions, and mobile-app OR SDK experience.
