Requirements and responsibilities


Responsibilities: - Teach students in an engaging, interactive, and bilingual environment. - Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the curriculum, ensuring student progress through assessments and feedback. - Maintain academic records, update lesson plans, and use Microsoft Teams for documentation and communication. - Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school meetings, projects, and professional development activities. - Engage with families and students, attending parent-teacher meetings when required. We’re looking for educators who have experience or are excited to explore the following tools and concepts: - Using Minecraft Education Edition to support learning through play and creativity. - Basic experience or willingness to learn Scratch, App Inventor, CodePen, or VS Code. - Understanding of simple coding concepts using blocks or beginner-friendly languages like Python or HTML/CSS/JS. - Interest in UI/UX design using tools like Canva or beginner platforms such as Visily. - Ability to use or learn simple video/audio editing tools like CapCut, Clipchamp, or Audacity. - Curious about Augmented Reality (AR) and 3D creation, especially using tools like MergeEDU, MyWebAR, or Tinkercad. - Open to experimenting with AI/ML in education using beginner tools like Teachable Machine. - Basic understanding or willingness to learn the use of Git and GitHub for collaboration. You're our perfect candidate IF: - You have a degree in software engineering, computer science, or related. - 1+ years of teaching experience. - You are fluent in English (C1 spoken and written). - You believe in alternative teaching methods and are open to learning new ones. - You are familiar with working in different online platforms with bigger groups, like Teams and Zoom. - You have a very dynamic personality, dynamic enough to shine through the screen. - Actively seek areas of improvement and find effective ways to solve/fix current issues. - Are punctual, organized, and professional in all aspects of the role. - Strong feedback skills and support for iterative learning. - Capacity to work collaboratively across disciplines and with curriculum teams.
