Santander Digital Services is seeking an Android Software Engineer to join their Málaga office. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow and learn through the challenge of building software in a highly dynamic and inventive environment. The role involves working as part of a cross-functional Agile delivery team, embracing agile software engineering, and taking responsibility for software delivery by ensuring quality and scope expectations are met. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of related experience, a university degree in technology, and excellent working knowledge of Android SDK, Kotlin, Gradle, JSON, Java, UX Design, Jetpack Compose, Material Design, Android Studio, and third-party libraries like Dagger2 and Retrofit. Experience with API development, Docker, Git, GitHub, Openshift, MicroServices Architecture, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and knowledge of Javascript, CSS, HTML is also required. Fluency in English (at least C1) and availability to travel if needed are essential. Responsibilities: - Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team through teaching and learning. - Take responsibility for software delivery by ensuring quality and scope expectations are met. - Work closely with partner technology teams and collaborate effectively. - Embrace agile software engineering practices such as BDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Pair Programming, etc.
