Responsibilities and deliverables

We are partnering with an innovative client seeking a Financial Due Diligence Analyst to bring deep expertise in M&A, financial analysis, and compliance. This is a unique opportunity to apply your real-world experience to help shape next-generation AI systems. Role: Financial Due Diligence Analyst. Location: Remote. Rate: $35 – $70/hr. Type: Contract. Responsibilities: - Review CIMs, financial statements, and contracts to identify risks. - Assess M&A transactions and fundraising processes. - Analyze sensitive documents while ensuring PII compliance. - Identify and mitigate financial, operational, and compliance risks. - Collaborate with teams to communicate key findings and insights. - Document and present clear, actionable recommendations. - Contribute to improving due diligence processes and frameworks. Requirements: - 2+ years of experience in financial due diligence, M&A, or corporate finance. - Strong background in PII compliance and sensitive data handling. - Expertise in risk identification and financial analysis. - Excellent communication and reporting skills. - Strong attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced environments. - Solid understanding of compliance and regulatory standards. Bonus Points: - Experience in tech, healthcare, or regulated industries. - Exposure to AI, data analytics, or digital transformation projects. - Certifications such as CPA, CFA, CAMS, or similar.
