• Verifying initial patient insurance coverage as well as active coverage for services rendered by BlackTree’s client base • Verifying any co-pays, deductibles, or co-insurance that will be applied by insurance • Performing periodic re-verification of patient insurance coverage • Obtaining initial and subsequent authorizations for services, if required by patient’s insurance or if prior authorizations have expired • Entering verifications and authorizations into the client’s EMR system • All other responsibilities as assigned, including billing and collections, work
