Zscaler is seeking a highly technical security researcher with expertise in malware reverse engineering and threat intelligence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex malware threats, developing innovative tools, and producing technical reports and research blogs. This is a full-time position based in San Jose, California, with a salary range of $175,000—$250,000 USD. Responsibilities: - Identify, analyze, and track emerging threats by reverse engineering advanced malware threats - Articulate findings through technical reports, blogs, media interviews, and speaking engagements - Leverage Zscaler’s existing data mining tools and cloud-based infrastructure to protect customers - Exercise strong technical knowledge of malware-based threats and identify the next attack vector - Develop precise IDS/IPS signatures and Yara rules - Demonstrate strong scripting skills in languages such as Ruby, Python, and Perl
