We’re looking for Business Development Manager / Demand Generation Manager as we are building a marketplace where supply=talent/software developers and demand=US-tech startups. We also call this role Startup Partner Manager. ## About this role - You will be one of the members of a small, high-performance team working directly with one of the founders [Jose de Cabo](http://linkedin.com/in/josedecabo), who has previously built a tech startup from zero to 300 people leading the go-to-market. - You will join as one of the members of a small and mighty demand team. Every member is in a different location, but with a high level of interaction and daily communication, as we are all learning together. - You will be responsible for building long-term relationships with top technology startups mainly in the US and also worldwide so they open their engineering job opportunities to the Remotely Talent Network. - In this role, you’ll be responsible for initiating conversations with Founders, CEO’s and CTO’s of venture-backed startups. - Part of your role would be to figure out a way to make the Demand side of the marketplace grow in a scalable way using outbound tools and strategies, referral programs, demand generation campaigns, and any other strategy that could make sense. - You’ll be working closely with the Founders and cross-functional teams, and your role will include discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals, and maintaining customer satisfaction. If you have **excellent English communication skills** and feel comfortable reaching out to potential customers to demonstrate our services through email and calls, we’d like to meet you. - If you’re looking for a diverse company with a fun culture and the opportunity to develop professionally, this might be the job for you. **Who you are** - You have **high energy** and eagerness to learn - You love listening and talking to people - You are communicative, organized, proactive, and autonomous - You are goal-oriented and get things done - You love working under pressure, and you don’t get frustrated easily - You have experience in sales, business development, or similar - You enjoy dynamic/startup environments and can adapt to changes - You have advanced speaking and writing English skills - You have client-facing experience taking to US-based companies - You have been exposed to tech companies/tech startups *What will you be doing - Prospect to generate new leads based on a combination of data sources - Manage multiple leads and prospective customers - Qualify and disqualify incoming leads - Field inbound leads as well as build pipeline through outbound prospecting - Research and analyze sales options - Meet online with potential clients to determine their needs - Research and recommend prospects for new business opportunities - Setting up meetings with potential clients and listening to their wishes and concerns - Actively seeking out new sales opportunities - Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
