Description:
The Data Analyst must have a strong understanding of data management and modeling, with experience in data organization, visualization and report development.
• A successful candidate will possess technical expertise to interpret, analyze, and assess data to ensure it is accurate and of high-quality.
• They must be able to operate with efficiency and accuracy in developing and delivering internal and external reports.
• They will use data to monitor performance and develop business insights for decisions.
Essential Job Functions:
• Create dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI.
• Strong ability to analyze data using SQL for reporting.
• Interview executive audiences to determine data visualization business requirements.
• Evaluate data visualizations and analytics requirements to determine efficient methods of implementation.
• Development experience for data modeling projects.
• Ensure data integrity and assist with quality control of data flow from core operating systems to executive level dashboards.
• Provide customer support and maintenance for existing data and visualization solutions.
• Ability to interact with business partners in a remote work environment.
• Additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
• Proficient in English language, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in Microsoft Power BI.
• One (1) year or more of direct experience in analytics as a data analyst, data engineer, or related role.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects, etc.), databases (SQL, etc.) programming (Python, JSON, JavaScript, or ELT frameworks)
• Experience with developing and delivering executive level reports and reporting design.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Computing.
• Ability to remain acquainted with the latest Innovations in Data Analytics and Database frameworks.
• Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team with a minimum of technical supervision and supplemental engineering support while responding efficiently to multiple project priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, in writing and verbally, with management and employees at all levels within the organization.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Strong research, creative solution making, and problem-solving ability.
• Strong organizational, analytic and strategic-thinking skills with demonstrated ability to create, implement and monitor complex plans and translate those plans into goals and concrete methods and strategies.
• Must possess good time-management skills and be able to multi-task.
• Preferred: Experience with Agile development processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) language models and applications.
Remote work requirements:
• Private work environment, free of distractions with minimal or no background noise.
Co-working or other similar facilities not approved.
• Must be able to remain connected during business hours.
• Backup power sources and alternate internet access capability are expected.
• Access to functional equipment necessary to perform work is expected.
• Sustainable/sufficient internet bandwidth during business hours.
• Minimum of 20 MBPS download and 10 MBPS upload speed.
• Must be able to work using an Ethernet connection (Wi-Fi is not recommended)
Contractor supplied computer with applicable requirements:
• Windows 10 or higher / MacOS 10.14 or higher operating system.
• Computer must have sufficient RAM and processing power to handle and process large amounts of data successfully.
• Recommended minimum of 16GB of RAM.
• Recommended Intel Core i5 or better (Windows) or M1 Pro or better (Apple) processor.
• Contractor supplied, wired headset with noise cancellation required to support calls (Bluetooth/wireless headsets are not approved).
Schedule:
• Monday-Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern Time (US & Canada)
• Full time (5 days; 40 hours)
• Overtime available; may be required as needed.
• Schedule subject to change.

This role is a remote assignment in a growing, fast paced Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) firm, with business performed almost exclusively in English.
Job is offered as an independent contractor position. All compensation is based on hours worked.
