The ideal candidate will have the ability to problem solve while maintaining high attention to detail in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.ResponsibilitiesPreparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual domestic and international sales tax returnsMaintain and monitor sales tax software for appropriate performance; raise issues or errors to appropriate team membersAssist with monthly and quarterly close processes for worldwide tax accounts, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliationsPrepare business license returns, annual reports, activity returns, and other miscellaneous returnsParticipate in documentation and information requests for annual auditsAssist with income tax compliance projects as assignedQualificationsThrives in a fast-changing environment with a high willingness to learnBachelor’s degree in accounting (preferred)Demonstrate advanced analytical skills using Microsoft Excel, and capable of handling large sets of dataAbility to prioritize and perform a variety of simultaneous tasks (multi-tasking), demonstrating initiative, dependability and self-direction to complete projects within expected deadlinesAbility to work in office on occasionExperience preparing, analyzing and filing sales and use taxes (preferred)Prior experience working with an e-commerce or retail business (preferred)Prior experience with Avalara, Shopify, and Netsuite or other ERP systems (preferred)The Benefits/Perks You’ll Enjoy (US version)Competitive salary, benefits and stock option package3 weeks PTO in year 1 +14 paid holidaysGenerous parental leaveAny equipment you need to get the job doneFree/discounted Lovevery productsRemote working option available anywhere in the USSalary Range InformationBased on market data and other factors, the salary range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000.
