Requirements and responsibilities

Position Overview: DSCR Pro is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated Loan Processor Assistant to support our processing team with file management, document collection, client communication, condition tracking, and day-to-day pipeline support. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with and report to a veteran Top Producer with over 25 years of experience in the mortgage and real estate finance industry. This producer has built a successful career through FHA, conventional, and traditional mortgage programs and has translated that deep experience into the real estate investment finance world. The right candidate will gain valuable exposure to DSCR loans, non-QM financing, investment property transactions, and creative finance strategies while being supported by an experienced team that understands how to structure files, solve problems, and get deals to the closing table. This role is ideal for someone who wants mentorship, structure, and support — but who is also capable of working independently, staying organized, following through, and taking ownership of assigned tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Assist loan processors with managing files from application through closing. - Collect, review, organize, and upload borrower, entity, property, income, asset, insurance, title, and transaction documents. - Follow up with clients, real estate agents, attorneys, title companies, insurance agents, appraisers, and finance partners as needed. - Track outstanding conditions and help ensure they are cleared quickly and accurately. - Maintain detailed file notes, task updates, and pipeline records. - Help prepare files for submission, underwriting, closing, and post-closing review. - Review documents for completeness, accuracy, signatures, dates, and missing information. - Communicate professionally and proactively with clients, referral partners, and internal team members. - Support DSCR, non-QM, investment property, commercial, fix-and-flip, bridge, FHA, conventional, and traditional mortgage files. - Help prevent delays by staying organized, proactive, and deadline-focused. - Assist the team in delivering a smooth and professional client experience. - Support loan officers, processors, and management with administrative and processing-related tasks. - Work both independently and as part of a team to keep files moving forward. Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple files and deadlines at the same time. You should be someone who pays close attention to details, follows up consistently, communicates clearly, and understands that successful processing requires urgency, accuracy, and teamwork. This role requires someone who can work independently, but also understands the importance of being a strong team player. You will have support, guidance, and access to experienced professionals, but you must also be able to take initiative, manage your responsibilities, and move tasks forward without constant supervision. The best fit for this position is someone who wants to learn from an elite producer, grow within the real estate investment finance space, and become part of a team that values execution, communication, and results. Qualifications: - Mortgage, loan processing, real estate, banking, finance, or administrative experience preferred. - Experience supporting loan processors, loan officers, or mortgage operations is a plus. - Familiarity with DSCR loans, non-QM loans, investment property financing, or commercial real estate financing is a strong plus. - FHA, conventional, or traditional mortgage file experience is also valuable. - Strong organizational and follow-up skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - High attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and active files at once. - Comfortable communicating with clients, real estate agents, attorneys, title companies, insurance agents, and finance partners. - Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment. - Proficient with email, document management systems, CRM tools, LOS platforms, and basic computer applications. - Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus. - Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. What We’re Looking For: We are looking for someone who understands that processing is not just paperwork — it is execution. Our clients are real estate investors who depend on us to help them close important transactions, protect their deals, and move quickly when opportunities arise. The right person for this role will be calm under pressure, highly organized, responsive, and committed to helping us deliver an excellent client experience. You should be the type of person who follows up before being asked, notices missing details, keeps files organized, and takes pride in helping the team close successfully. You will not be expected to figure everything out alone. You will have support from an experienced team and will report to a veteran Top Producer who understands the full mortgage process from both the traditional and investment finance sides. At the same time, you must be able to take ownership, work independently, and be accountable for your responsibilities. Why Join DSCR Pro: - Work directly with a veteran Top Producer with over 25 years of mortgage and real estate finance experience. - Learn from someone who has successfully transitioned FHA and conventional mortgage expertise into the real estate investment finance world. - Join a growing real estate investment finance company. - Learn specialized DSCR, non-QM, and investor-focused finance programs. - Gain exposure to investment property, commercial, bridge, and fix-and-flip transactions. - Work with a team that values speed, communication, problem-solving, and execution. - Build experience in one of the fastest-growing areas of real estate finance. - Help investors close deals and build long-term wealth through real estate. - Be part of a company focused on education, strategy, and results. - Receive support and guidance while also having the opportunity to grow independently.
