TestPros is dedicated to making lives better, safer and more secure.TestPros is seeking Web Content Remediation Specialists.Position Type: Consultant (Project-Based)Location: RemoteContract Period: February 2026 – February 2027 (with potential renewals)OverviewThe Web Content Remediation Specialist will perform hands-on remediation of public-facing web content to address accessibility issues identified through audits and testing. This role focuses on HTML- and CMS-level fixes to ensure compliance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA, ADA, and Section 508 requirements. The specialist will work closely with accessibility testers and the project lead to implement and validate accessibility corrections.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform hands-on remediation of web content to correct accessibility defects identified through manual and automated testingUpdate and correct HTML structure, including headings, landmarks, lists, tables, and semantic markupApply and validate alternative text, labels, and instructions for non-text contentRemediate keyboard navigation, focus order, and interactive elements (links, buttons, forms)Address color contrast, text resizing, and visual presentation issuesImplement accessibility fixes within content management systems (CMS) and web platformsCoordinate with accessibility testers to support post-remediation validationDocument remediation actions and support status reporting as neededFollow established accessibility standards, agency policies, and remediation prioritiesRequired Experience & SkillsMinimum 3 years of experience supporting web accessibility remediationDemonstrated experience remediating web content to meet WCAG 2.1 or WCAG 2.2 Level AAWorking knowledge of ADA and Section 508 requirementsHands-on experience with:HTML and CSSAccessibility semantics (headings, labels, ARIA usage as needed)Experience remediating accessibility issues within CMS environmentsFamiliarity with common web accessibility issues, including:Missing or incorrect alternative textImproper heading structuresKeyboard accessibility issuesColor contrast deficienciesForm labeling and error identificationAbility to collaborate with testers and implement remediation based on documented findingsNice to HaveExperience supporting public-sector or government websitesExperience validating remediated content using assistive technologiesFamiliarity working alongside accessibility audit or QA teamsRate: $40-70/hr (1099 or Corp. To Corp.).
