Because at Fort Health, we believe “we're stronger together”.About the Role: As one of Fort’s consulting Psychiatrists, you will have the opportunity to help deliver patient care and/or to work with our care team to deliver high quality, evidence-based therapy and medication management. The incumbent reports directly to the Medical Director who will also assign projects and provide general direction and guidance. The candidate is expected to perform duties with minimal supervision.In this role, you will:Provide psychiatric services to individuals who otherwise may not have access to careCoordinate treatment planning and care delivery with Fort Health’s network of licensed therapistsAdhere to Fort Health’s platform guidelines and policies and complete all required trainingProvide unparalleled clinical customer service through the delivery of prompt and empathetic care on the platformProvide software and operational feedback to Fort Health’s in-house engineering and operational teams to improve products, workflows and care deliveryImplement medication treatment plans for mild to moderate disorders in a virtual clinic (i.e. telehealth) settingCollaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team of physicians, therapists, along with outside providersAbility to message between sessions to support patients and communicate with other internal providersEngage and collaborate in clinical meetings, supervision, and team meetings as appropriateProvide compensated scheduled supervision of nurse practitionersDuties include, but not limited to:Work with a team of MDs, NPs, and clinicians to provide effective and evidence based treatment to our patientsTraditional psychiatric services - diagnostic evaluation, medication management, and on-going monitoringOpportunities to work in a collaborative care model - work with a team of clinicians and care coordinators to consult and advise pediatricians on behavioral healthAddress issues in their patient populationAble to work a limited, part-time schedule with possibility to ramp up as we growWhat we are looking for:Active New York state medical licenseBoard Certified in Child PsychiatryCapacity to work a minimum of 5 hours per week with availability during after school hours or weekendsExperience working in a telehealth environment preferred
