Hiring: Senior Backend Engineer. Generative AI and AWS Serverless.A venture-backed generative AI company with a live consumer product and a B2B API is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to own the architecture behind both. Small, sharp team. No process theatre.This is an AI-first engineering role. Much of the code generation is handled by AI tooling. The human engineer directs it, reviews it, corrects it, and takes ownership of what ships. If you have already reorganised your working style around agentic coding and can articulate where AI is strong and where it still needs a hand, this fits.The role:Own backend architecture and technical decisions across an AWS serverless platform.Design and operate serverless APIs across Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS, DocumentDB, and S3.Maintain infrastructure as code (Terraform, AWS SAM) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).Provide the engineering judgement AI cannot: debugging, performance, security, data modelling.Direct AI tooling to produce, review, and integrate the code that ships.Location: Remote, anywhere in Europe.Compensation: $100K to $150K USD.Web: www.nodevector.comContact: anthony@nodevector.com
