ROLE OVERVIEW
You own the human side of our sales pipeline, across every event type we sell. Our AI sales agent captures inbound leads and books tours automatically. You take those conversations over when they need judgment and carry them across calls, email, and SMS: making the calls, hosting the virtual tours, handling objections, walking clients through the retainer and payment terms, and bringing bookings across the line.
That includes our highest-value work. Weddings and quinceañeras are yours to run end to end, from first conversation through signed contract. These are emotional, high-consideration purchases with long decision cycles and multiple decision-makers, and they are where this role earns its keep.
**Success here is measured on booked, retained events. Not on activity volume.**
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales and conversion
• Take over lead conversations from our AI sales agent when they need a human, and carry them across calls, email, and SMS, keeping one continuous brand voice throughout
• Make outbound calls to leads and booked clients, and follow up by email and SMS as each conversation needs
• Own wedding and quinceañera inquiries from first contact through signed contract, including consultations with couples, parents, and planners
• Host virtual venue tours by camera (training and access provided) and support in-person tours hosted on site
• Run post-tour follow-up from our documented scenario library, and handle pricing objections, competitor comparisons, and decision hesitation
• Walk each client personally through the booking-readiness call (retainer tier, tentative date hold, payment deadline), then log that call in the CRM
• Serve Spanish-speaking leads and clients end to end in Spanish across calls, email, and SMS
• Carry every booking from signed contract through to a secured date, giving booked-but-unpaid clients personal attention until their first installment lands. That window is where bookings are won or lost
Pipeline and records
• Keep opportunity stages, tags, and notes accurate so the pipeline reflects reality at all times
• Collect and verify essential client details (event type, date or date range, guest count, contact information)
• Prepare proposals and invoices in our system using approved templates and workflows
• Work the daily internal routine: post shift status and the day's tour list, claim follow-up tasks, action must-do alerts promptly
• Occasionally cover client-communication or booking-support tasks when a teammate is unavailable. This is incidental to the role rather than a regular part of it, and it works both ways: our virtual assistant team covers sales tasks when you are away
Judgment and escalation
• Escalate pricing exceptions, discounts, refunds, cancellations, contract concerns, and complaints to the Event Experience Coordinator through the proper channel
• Never quote from memory. All pricing comes from the approved quote builder
• Flag anything the AI agents get wrong so we can fix it at the source
SYSTEMS & TOOLS
• GoHighLevel is our single system of record: contacts, sales and client pipelines, calendars, contracts and e-signatures, invoices, and automated workflows
• Slack is our internal control surface, including the live consoles where you supervise and take over AI agent conversations
• Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
• Lead-capture channels including Eventective, Peerspace, Google Business Profile, and social platforms
**Full training is provided. Experience with any comparable CRM transfers well.**
REQUIREMENTS
Language (non-negotiable)
• Native or fully fluent Spanish, spoken and written, strong enough to run a full sales conversation and negotiate comfortably
• Native or fully fluent English, spoken and written, with a warm and polished client-facing tone
• **Spoken English clarity is critical**. You will spend a large part of every day on the phone with US-based clients, often about the most important event of their lives. Your spoken English needs to be easy for a US client to follow on a phone call, at natural speed, without repetition or strain on either side. This is the single most common reason we do not move a candidate forward
• Equally strong listening comprehension. You need to catch names, dates, guest counts, and budget numbers correctly the first time, over imperfect phone audio
US market experience (required)
• Demonstrated experience serving US-based customers directly by phone, not only by chat or email
• Familiarity with US customer service expectations: response speed, tone, directness, and follow-through
• Comfort with US date and time conventions, US holidays, and US Central Time scheduling
• Understanding of the US Hispanic market is a strong advantage. Many of our Spanish-speaking clients are US-based Latino families, and a Texas quinceañera is a specific cultural event with its own expectations
Experience
• Minimum 2 years in sales, inside sales, or a client-facing closing role. Hospitality, events, real estate, or another considered, high-value purchase is ideal
• Experience selling weddings, quinceañeras, or comparable milestone events is a strong advantage
• A demonstrated track record of converting inquiries into paid bookings or signed agreements
• Comfortable managing a long decision cycle with several decision-makers on one booking
• Comfortable owning a number and being measured on closed outcomes
• Proficient with CRMs and quick to learn a new one
• Highly organized with documentation and follow-through. Our sales process is documented in detail and we expect it to be followed exactly
Setup
• Stable high-speed internet, a quiet professional work environment, and a reliable headset
This role is not a fit for candidates who:
• Avoid the phone, or are uncomfortable asking for the sale
• Prefer improvising over following a proven, documented process
• Need constant direction, reminders, or supervision
• Want a primarily administrative or back-office role
AVAILABILITY & SCHEDULING
• Coverage is required within a 14-hour window between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM CST (US Central Time)
• You will be assigned a fixed shift within that window
• Includes scheduled rotational weekend coverage. Most tours happen on weekends, so weekend availability is essential
• Schedules are set ahead of time to keep things predictable
• Full-time, 40 hours per week. Long-term position for the right candidate
COMPENSATION
Base salary: USD 1,250 per month, full-time.
Plus an uncapped booking bonus on every event you close:
Event value Bonus per booking:
USD 5,000 and under = USD 40
Over USD 5,000 = USD 100
The bonus is paid once that client's first installment payment has cleared and their date is fully secured. You are rewarded for bookings that stick, not bookings that are merely promised, and there is no quota gate. Every event you carry through to a secured date pays.
This means part of your job continues after the client says yes. The window between a signed contract and a secured date is where bookings are most often lost, and you stay close to the client through it. Expect your first bonus roughly six to eight weeks after you start, as your earliest deals work through that cycle.
On-target earnings for a productive month are approximately **USD 1,800**, with the booking bonus capped at USD 800 per month. Your highest-value bookings, including the weddings and quinceañeras you own end to end, sit in the higher bonus tier, so your biggest wins are also your biggest payouts.
Base is paid twice a month. Booking bonuses earned in a calendar month are paid on the 15th of the following month, as a separate line item, and every payment comes with an itemised statement showing each booking it covers. Every bonus is verified against cleared payments in our system before it is paid, so you can always trace what you earned to a real, secured booking. Bonuses earn from your first day, with no probationary waiting period. Your base is reviewed after the initial engagement review period based on performance.
