To date, the company has raised approximately $75 million in equity capital.OverviewBenepass is hiring our first Manager, Proposals & Content Operations to build and own our end-to-end RFP and proposal function. As we continue to scale upmarket and increase deal complexity, this role will define the systems, content foundation, and processes that enable high-quality, consistent, and efficient responses across the business. This is a zero-to-one role with significant ownership, partnering closely with Sales, Strategic Alliances, and Product Marketing to improve win rates, reduce sales burden, and elevate how we show up in competitive enterprise opportunities. A key part of this role will be leveraging AI and automation to scale output and continuously improve quality.Role and ResponsibilitiesProposal & RFP OwnershipOwn the end-to-end proposal and RFP process from intake through submission and follow-upDrive cross-functional coordination across Sales, Strategic Alliances, Solutions Consulting, Product, Product Marketing and other stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality responsesEstablish clear timelines, roles, and SLAs to bring structure and predictability to the processContent Strategy & Library ManagementBuild and maintain a centralized content library, ensuring responses are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned to Benepass’s positioningPartner closely with Product Marketing to refine messaging based on RFP trends, buyer feedback, and competitive insightsContinuously improve core materials including standard responses, executive summaries, and proposal templatesQuality, Writing & CustomizationDraft, edit, and QA proposal responses with a focus on clarity, differentiation, and alignment to client needsTailor responses for enterprise and strategic accounts, balancing customization with scalabilityEnsure consistency in tone, voice, and messaging across all submissionsSystems, Tooling & AI EnablementLeverage AI tools to accelerate drafting, improve response quality, and enforce consistency in tone and messagingIdentify opportunities to automate and streamline the proposal workflow, reducing manual effort and increasing throughputEvaluate, implement, and manage proposal tools and systems that support scaleContinuously test and refine workflows to improve efficiency without compromising qualityCross-Functional CollaborationPartner closely with subject matter experts across departments to gather inputs and align on strategy for key opportunitiesAct as a central point of coordination across teams involved in proposal developmentProvide feedback to internal stakeholders based on RFP insights to improve positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategyPerformance Tracking & Continuous ImprovementTrack proposal activity, turnaround times, and outcomes to identify areas for improvementAnalyze trends in RFPs, including common questions, objections, and competitive dynamicsUse insights to improve win rates, refine content, and inform broader GTM strategyLead process and content optimization initiatives during lower-volume periodsRequirements6-8+ years in proposal management within a B2B / enterprise sales environmentProven ownership of end-to-end RFP processes, including cross-functional coordination and deadline managementStrong writing and editing skills, with the ability to clearly articulate value in enterprise proposalsExperience building or managing a content library, with a focus on reusability and consistencyExperience using AI tools to improve writing quality, speed, and workflow efficiencySystems-oriented mindset, with the ability to create structure in ambiguous, high-growth environmentsWhat We Offer95% coverage of medical, dental, and visionFantastic benefits (of course 😃), including:$250 WFH setup (one time)$500/year Learning & Development Benefit$150/month cell phone + internet$100/month Wellness$100/month Co-working and Commuter BenefitWe offer several team onsites a yearFlexible PTOAt Benepass, we are working towards reimagining how companies take care of their people.
