Job Summary:
The BI Report Designer is an embedded member of the Business Intelligence reporting team, sitting at the intersection of data and design. This role supports the Power BI reporting delivered across the Inspire Brands portfolio, including Dunkin’, Arby’s, Sonic, Jimmy John’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Baskin-Robbins, leveraging semantic models produced by the BI Developer team. The BI Report Designer is responsible for the visual quality, usability, and consistency of reports produced by the BI Report Developer team. This includes reviewing and refining reports created by other developers, establishing reusable templates and design components, and defining the visual standards the team follows. While not primarily responsible for building reports from scratch, this role ensures that all reporting output meets a high bar for clarity, usability, and design polish. The work supports more than 22,000 restaurants, so consistency, readability, and user experience are critical. This role partners closely with BI Report Developers on active builds and with the BI Developer team to ensure model design supports effective reporting. Success is measured by the quality and consistency of reporting output, adoption of design standards, and user satisfaction with report usability.
