We are looking for an operations expert for our Eastern US team - based in Newark, New Jersey. The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for coordinating and overseeing all day to day production in the facility. The goal of the Senior Operations Manager is smooth production runs and quality of output. Responsibilities: - Build and develop fulfillment operations, including hiring, leading teams of operations managers, team leads and production associates - Responsible to run the day-to-day operations, manage the facility from end-to-end and achieve all operational objectives - Optimize and streamline production processes and introduce best practices in manufacturing - Drive planning and scheduling activities with the support of the Operations team and leads capacity planning and resource optimization for the assigned fulfillment center - Implements production schedule to maintain accordance with production requirements, customer needs and cost constraints in alignment with Head of Production - Advises the Head of Production in the preparation of the production budget and recommends / implements cost reduction and productivity improvement activities - Develop, train and coach team members to enable career progression - Work with key stakeholders (procurement, operations, logistics and culinary) to ensure seamless end-to-end workflow and constantly strive for operational excellence - Identify potential to increase efficiency & continuous development of processes and systems
