We are seeking a self-driven Senior Software Engineer who will work remotely (Eastern Time) and contribute to our engineering team. The ideal candidate thrives in a startup environment with a flat hierarchy, values autonomy, and is comfortable wearing multiple hats as needed. Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions using our tech stack. * Identify and address performance bottlenecks, implementing necessary optimizations. * Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. * Contribute to architecture decisions and help establish best practices. * Implement and maintain security best practices across all systems. * Troubleshoot production issues and develop effective solutions. Qualifications: * Driven and eager to operate within our stack. * Proficient in using Typescript for IaaS, backend, and frontend development. * Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail. * Strong communication skills and ability to work independently. * Passion for one or more focus areas: Security, Platform/SRE, AI, Product Engineering, or Business Intelligence. Our Tech Stack: * Typescript end to end – we care about types and don’t use coercions. * Pulumi for IaaS. * Bun for the backend. * Vite / React for the frontend. * Hosted on AWS. * Postgres and Redis for data storage. * GraphQL + end-to-end types. Working Environment: This is a fully remote position that requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently while staying connected with the team. We value autonomy, continuous learning, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. Our engineering culture emphasizes quality code and thoughtful architecture.
