The big picture:We are looking for an ambitious Statutory Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will support the financial and tax departments across various European countries and participate in audit processes and year-end closings. This position requires work within the Greece (+1 GMT time zone).Responsibilities:Manage/Review all STAT work in allocated portfolioPreparation of monthly tasks such as VAT, Intrastat report, Payroll, Balance sheet recons, SOX binders Analyze on a monthly basis the accounts to identify unusual or irregular transactions and make recommendations to resolve Provide guidance to other STAT accounting staff and assist with mentoring staff to meet all client deadlines Preparation of the year-end financial close activities such as US to local GAAP reconciliations, Local GAAP financial statements and meet all related deadlines Key figure for quarterly and year-end audits and main contact with the auditors for the preparation of the PBC listPreparation of Global tax packs and related activities:Key figure for CIT returns preparation and main contact with external consultants for the preparation of annual CIT questionnaires Assist with ad-hoc accounting, tax and finance projectsRequirements:Bacherlor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or EconomicsGood MS Office SkillsAdvanced Excel SkillsFluency in English (Written and Verbal)Good knowledge of Accounting principles and taxation2-3 years experience working on accounting and taxationAbility to organize large amounts of dataAttention to detailGood communication skills with proactive, supportive and positive approachAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasksAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesFlexibility to travel in accordance with client and other job requirementsSAP ERP knowledge is requiredSSC environment would be an assetBenefits: Competitive salary package & benefits.Experience friendly office comprising young, enthusiastic, multi-national staff.Continuous improvement, training, and support from the team.Hybrid working model.International business exposure (offices across seven countries) and opportunities to travel.Stimulating, fast-paced work environment with structured opportunities for professional growth/development.Why CKH is the best choice?
