Symmetrio is recruiting for an Enterprise Oncology IT & AI Strategy Leader for our customer, a global leader in oncology technology and healthcare innovation. This individual will play a highly strategic role helping shape the organization’s enterprise oncology technology direction as the company continues their expansion. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of healthcare IT strategy, oncology workflow expertise, enterprise software knowledge, and emerging AI technology awareness. This role will serve as a trusted advisor across the business, helping evaluate interoperability strategies, technology partnerships, enterprise platform initiatives, and long-term digital health opportunities.The ideal candidate will have experience navigating complex healthcare technology environments, working cross-functionally with executives, product teams, engineering organizations, customers, and external partners to drive enterprise-level business outcomes.Responsibilities Help define and guide enterprise oncology IT and AI strategy initiatives across the organization.Evaluate healthcare technology trends, interoperability strategies, and emerging AI capabilities within oncology and broader healthcare ecosystems.Assess potential technology partnerships, vendors, and external solutions that align with strategic business objectives.Serve as a strategic advisor across product, engineering, commercial, and executive leadership teams.Analyze technical and operational challenges related to enterprise software integrations and determine practical paths forward.Partner with internal stakeholders to identify gaps where external partnerships or outsourced capabilities may accelerate business goals.Support enterprise customer discussions related to oncology workflows, interoperability, digital transformation, and AI-driven healthcare initiatives.Provide strategic insight into healthcare software ecosystems including oncology platforms, imaging systems, enterprise workflows, and integration frameworks.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology strategy with customer needs and long-term market direction.Stay current on trends across oncology technology, healthcare AI, enterprise software, interoperability standards, and digital health innovation.Skills and KnowledgeStrong understanding of healthcare IT ecosystems, enterprise software environments, and oncology workflows.Experience evaluating interoperability strategies and enterprise technology integrations.Ability to operate strategically while maintaining credibility with technical and operational teams.Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.Experience working within highly matrixed, growth-oriented healthcare technology organizations.Knowledge of AI trends and their practical application within healthcare and oncology environments.RequirementsBachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.Experience within healthcare technology, oncology technology, enterprise software, consulting, digital health, or healthcare transformation environments.Prior experience in strategic product leadership, consulting, enterprise healthcare strategy, customer-facing healthcare technology leadership, or digital transformation initiatives preferred.Proven ability to operate cross-functionally across business, technical, and customer-facing organizations.Strong presentation, communication, and executive influence skills.Ability to travel as needed.BenefitsHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)401k Retirement Plan (4% match)Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)
