Forte Group is hiring a Senior Data Engineer with diverse skills, leadership qualities, and a passion for solving new challenges as we continue to build great products for Youth & Rec Sports athletes.This remote position is based in Colombia.Essential Qualifications include:BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering, including building data pipelines, workflow orchestration, data modeling, and working with data lakes.Strong programming skills in one or more of the following: Python, Java, Scala, or SQL, with experience writing efficient and reusable code to automate data processing and analysis.Experience with data warehousing concepts, including relational and dimensional data modeling.Hands-on experience working with a variety of data sources such as APIs, real-time feeds, and structured or semi-structured file formats.Experience processing large datasets and building solutions using AWS Glue, Apache Airflow / Amazon MWAA, SQL, Python, and PySpark.Experience developing both near real-time and batch data pipelines.Experience with AWS data platforms such as S3, Redshift, and DynamoDB, as well as related tools including Athena, EMR, Glue, and Lambda.Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment.5+ years of work experience with Data Engineering.3+ years of work experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).Acceptance of a background check.
