Button Finance, Inc. (BF) is an established Closed-End Second (CES) and HELOC lender. We are currently growing our Fully Delegated platform, which has expanded into NQM and DSCR markets.Position OverviewJob Title: Mortgage Loan Operations AssociateKey ResponsibilitiesQuality Control & Funding: Support the funding team by performing quality control checks utilizing delivered reports, credit file content, and lock/bid information used to initially price loans.Communication & Support: Manage communication across individual loan scenarios and broader trade details with sellers, clients, and vendors. Issue Resolution: Handle internal QC reviews, defect clearing, query resolutions, and seller escalations.Collateral & Custodial Boarding: Manage the custodial boarding process from collateral shipment and receipt of custodial tape to collaborating with sellers and custodians to clear collateral defects. Confirm collateral is on hand and approved to fund.Post-Closing Operations: Address post-closing issues and queries that arise between sellers, servicers, TPRs, custodians, and other third parties. Documentation & Compliance: Review sales letters and servicing transfer letters to ensure proper timing and accurate information content.Vendor Coordination: Facilitate file delivery to third-party vendors from sellers, establishing and following timelines to optimize funding efficiency.End-to-End Pipeline Support: Support the Fully Delegated loan process throughout the acquisition timeline—from lock to delivery, funding, and service transfer.Suspense Management: Work closely with all relevant parties to identify and cure pipeline suspense conditions.Pipeline Management: Assist with overall pipeline management to ensure smooth and efficient workflow operations.Required Qualifications3 to 5 years of experience in mortgage loan operations, with a specific focus on Non-QM (NQM) and DSCR loans.Additional experience with Closed-End Seconds (CES) or HELOCs is highly desirable.College degree required.Proficient computer skills with a proven ability to navigate various mortgage vendor software systems.
