We're offering a hands-on opportunity for aspiring product engineers who want to deepen their skills, work on real features, and build momentum toward future tech roles. This internship is ideal for developers who’ve started learning or have limited experience and are now ready to apply their skills in a collaborative, fast-moving environment. You’ll work directly with experienced engineers, designers, and product managers to ship user-facing features, learn how product decisions are made, and sharpen both your technical and product instincts. WHAT IS TORRE? At Torre, we're building AI recruiters who replicate human intuition. They automatically attract candidates, engage them, screen them, rank them, present them, and provide them with feedback. We analyze 100+ factors with nine types of AI to match candidates with companies, teams, and leaders. The result: we make recruiting faster, more accurate, less discriminatory, and significantly less expensive. Our end goal is to build THE matching network for work. We offer three product lines for companies: Torre OS, Torre Reach, and Torre RPO. You'd directly impact the first two. Our motto is to make work fulfilling for everyone. Our seed round was $20M, of which Alex Torrenegra, our founder and CEO, contributed $10M. Other investors included early investors and executives from Apple, Amazon, Meta, Space X, and TikTok. WHAT WILL YOU DO? • Contribute to real product features used by actual users. • Participate in technical and product discussions. • Write, test, and debug code across the stack with mentorship support. • Use common engineering workflows: Git, pull requests, issue tracking. • Give and receive feedback through code reviews and pairing sessions. • Document and present your work to build a professional portfolio. You'll share the KPIs of the core product team: • Revenue. • Number of applications. • Number of hires. • On-time delivery. • DORA metrics. • Product performance (Core Web Vitals). • Product quality (Number of bugs). • Uptime. • Test coverage. WHAT WILL YOU GAIN? • Practical experience in a real-world product engineering environment. • Mentorship from senior engineers and product team members. • Production-level code contributions and collaboration experience. • Stronger understanding of how to build user-centered software. • Public or private examples of your work to showcase professionally. The experience you earn will enable you to grow into other roles at Torre or elsewhere. THE TEAM: You'll report directly to me. Nevertheless, you will work with many team members from different areas across the company. TOOLS AT YOUR DISPOSAL: • Version control and collaboration tools. • CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment. • Monitoring and logging tools to track product performance and uptime. • A platform engineering team building internal libraries and services for an improved DevEx. • Access to user feedback to monitor user behavior, needs, and NPS. • A data warehouse for analytics and business intelligence. • The help of the whole product development and analytics team. We apply the scientific method to almost everything we do: ideate, hypothesize, experiment, analyze, and repeat.
