💡 Job description:
We seek a talented and experienced Senior Backend Developer (Python).
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development and a proven track record of building application code from the ground up. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining critical backend components of Push.ai's Business Observability platform.
Requirements:
✅ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
✅ More than three years of experience as a Python developer, preferably within a startup environment.
✅ Strong experience with backend web development frameworks, particularly Flask.
✅ Experience with asynchronous task management using Celery.
✅ Familiarity with Redis and its usage in distributed applications.
✅ Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
✅ Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
✅ Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
🔸 Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services using Python, Flask, Celery, and Redis.
🔸 Collaborate closely with the frontend development team to ensure seamless integration of the backend services with the user-facing applications.
Implement robust error handling and logging mechanisms to ensure the reliability and stability of the platform.
🔸 Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuously improving the development process and team performance.
🔸 Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in backend development, particularly within the Python ecosystem.
🔸 Mentor and guide junior developers on the team.
Nice-to-have:
💥 Experience with containerization and deployment technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
💥 Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
💥 Knowledge of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
