I am seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Centralized Scheduling & Referral Management Coordinator to join our healthcare team. You will play a vital role in patient scheduling, referral processing, and communication between providers, patients, and internal teams.
What You’ll Do
-Manage centralized scheduling for patients with accuracy and efficiency.
-Process and track referrals from multiple sources.
-Verify patient and insurance information before appointments.
-Communicate with patients and providers to resolve scheduling conflicts.
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in EMR and scheduling systems.
-Follow established workflows to ensure timely appointment coordination.
-Assist patients with appointment requirements and preparation.
-Support urgent scheduling needs in collaboration with internal departments.
What We’re Looking For:
-1–2 years of experience in healthcare administration, scheduling, or referral management (preferred).
-Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
-Familiarity with EMR systems and scheduling software (Athenahealth a plus).
-Knowledge of orthopaedic or physical therapy terminology is an advantage.
-Excellent organization, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
-Patient-focused, professional communication style.
