Position Overview: The Construction Project Assistant will provide direct support to the Project Manager, helping coordinate multiple residential and multi-family construction projects. This role combines administrative and technical responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who has worked in a construction environment, understands project documentation and drawings, and is comfortable liaising with subcontractors and vendors. The successful candidate will play a critical role in keeping projects organized, ensuring clear communication among all stakeholders, and supporting efficient planning and execution across multiple ongoing developments. Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative and project coordination support to the Project Manager and construction team. Maintain organized project documentation, including contracts, drawings, correspondence, and schedules. Review and interpret construction drawings to assist in project planning, subcontractor coordination, and material tracking. Coordinate communication between subcontractors, vendors, and site teams to ensure timely execution of tasks. Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables, providing regular updates and reports. Support scheduling activities such as subcontractor meetings, inspections, and project reviews. Prepare meeting notes, follow-up lists, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders. Assist with procurement by tracking orders, deliveries, change orders, and vendor invoices. Maintain spreadsheets, logs, and reports to ensure data accuracy and accessibility. Perform general administrative tasks as needed to ensure the smooth execution of project operations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred (Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field). 1–3 years of experience working for a general contractor or real estate developer, ideally in a project coordination or administrative support role. Strong understanding of construction drawings, documentation, and field coordination processes. Experience coordinating directly with subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, or similar). Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, neutral English accent. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a remote, fast-paced construction environment. Hands-on experience in subcontractor coordination and basic drawing interpretation", and "Understanding of construction documentation and coordination processes. Nice-to-Haves: Experience with Procore, Buildertrend, or other construction management platforms. Exposure to multi-family or large-scale residential projects. Familiarity with budget tracking, procurement workflows, or change order processes. Knowledge of MEP or structural documentation.
